The patterns for this fancy trigger were made by John Bivins. Originally this trigger was designed to be pinned to the wood. The trigger plate served only as a "wear plate". We have added ears to serve as an integral pivot point. However, it is possible to drill the pivot hole high in the corner, and pin the trigger to the plate. The as cast plate will have a casting gate that will need to be removed. The plate has a overall length of 3.75". The boss at the front is 0.17" thick, while the rear is 0.9" thick. The slot is 1" long by 0.08" wide.
